We are in the first town in the foothills of Sierra de Francia mountain range which together with Las Batuecas form part of an unforgetable Natural Park with beatiful landscapes and picturesques willages with typical architecture of the region. You may not be able to see everythig, which is why you will want to come back.

Within this area and the Quilamas Mountains is our Bosque de la Honfría, a forest straight from a fairytale and legends. Cinema-goers will remember Jaime de Armiñán's "El Nido" (1980), nominated for an Oscar, filmed here in our chestnut woods. An excurcion to the area is a must with its flora, fauna, streams, colours and fresh air. A stone's throw away from the house is where the foothills begin with spectacular places such as "El castañar de las Ánimas" where you can enjoy this beauty of nature on foot, mountain bike, horseback or by quad.
